Vault Templates

Management
Listen to this page

Create reusable layouts for meeting notes, project pages, and recurring documents. Phasoric supports ordinary Markdown templates and Knap templates with structured inputs, loops, and filters.

Configuring Templates

  1. Go to the Templates page.
  2. Select New template and give it a name.
  3. Define placeholders (like {{date}}, {{title}}, or {{time}}).
  4. Choose Markdown for the standard placeholders or Knap for richer formatting.
  5. Use Validate syntax and Preview output, then Save template.
  6. Select Create note to create a note from the saved layout.

Knap templates with structured data

Follow Knap Markdown Templates for a complete JSON-to-Markdown example, source loops, links, and YAML frontmatter. Test variables are preview inputs; note creation supplies the title, vault, folder, date, time, and datetime.

Each save retains a new template version. Existing notes remain ordinary Markdown and are not rewritten when you change a template. Export a template as .md.knap or export its JSON definition with schema and metadata.

Templates for editable artifacts

In Artifact Studio, choose a saved Rendering template to format the title, request, and selected source objects into an editable preview. Review it before saving. Browse artifact studios and packs to see the available workflows.
